How contemptuous we are to intentionally remove a passage of Scripture from its natural surrounding and plant it in the soil of our own insatiable lusts? To use it to amass treasures and acclaim in a world we insist is not our own? Since when did we start believing it was all about us? God's Word is the revelation of HIMSELF. Who switched that one around? And who helps them still?
